Hello and Greetings in Jesus Christ our Saviour,

My name is Paul Leatherman III and I am here to bring you a warm welcome to all who have stopped by our website from the sisters and brothers of Longmeadow. We encourage you to come and share your Sunday mornings with us. It is my pleasure to personally invite each and every one of God’s children to come to His house as we unite our hearts in His worship. We are sure that here you will find an atmosphere that is warm and inviting. It is with great joy that I invite you to share in the rich blessings this body of believers has to offer you. The love and commitment of this church family will be made known upon your first visit. I also encourage you if you are seeking the Lord and His treasure or if you do not know the Lord and have questions about Jesus and His church please contact me personally by my email at pnl1922@verizon.net or call me 301 293 3133. I stand ready to offer prayer and an ear to listen as well as a way to help you find Jesus Christ and the offer of His everlasting salvation and peace. Please join us here at Longmeadow and we truly look forward to meeting you and getting to know you.

In Jesus Christ our Saviour,

Brother Paul Leatherman III

"Lord I have loved the habitation of thine house, and the place where thy honor dwelleth," Psalm 26:8

We Believe
We at Longmeadow see the main purpose of our church as:
1.) Sharing the message of salvation by introducing people to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
2.) Giving opportunities for these same believers to grow and mature in the faith by providing experiences of worship, teaching, ministry, and training in the Christian life and discipleship.
3.) Building a fellowship that will be receptive to taking seriously the whole council of God as found in His Word. Follow the commands of Jesus and "Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you."

We Believe
that the whole Bible is the Word of God and is our handbook (guide) for living;

That God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit; that Jesus was born of a virgin and was bodily raised from the tomb, is the only Way to the Father, is the baptizer with the Holy Spirit, is seated at God's right hand, will come again.
that the Holy Spirit is Comforter, Teacher and has come to empower the believer for services;

that the Church is Christ's body here on earth and is composed of everyone who has accepted Jesus and His rule by faith and committed his life to Him;

that Jesus defeated Satan, our personal enemy, on the Cross and that in and through Christ we also have the victory.
