HOT 2nd: Hazy hot and humid today high 92 F. Thunderstorm passed just to north between 7-8pm only produced some dark skies, distant thunder, and a wind gust to 24 mph, no rain fell. 3rd: Pleasant breezy day with 100% sunshine. RAIN 5th: Cloudy cool. Showers began this evening around 9pm .06" fell by midnight. 6th: Rain all night occasionally moderate to heavy at times 1.15" fell by 7am. Showers throughout the day and again this evening. 1.41" total today. 7th: Sunny warmer 79 F. HOT / HUMID 9th: Hot high of 90 F just a bit humid. 10th: Sunny hot and humid today high 92 F. 11th: Hazy hot and humid high 94 F. Afternoon heat index was averaging around 100 peaked at 103. 12th: Cloudy hazy warm and humid today. A few sprinkles this afternoon. Some thunderstorms passed to north this evening and dissipated as they moved through. Light showers fell this evening .11" 13th: Cloudy hazy and humid high only 74 F. 14th: Another cloudy hazy humid day high 74 again. VERY HUMID / INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS 15th: Became sunny and very humid today as temp shot up to 87 F just before a very intense thunderstorm came through 3pm- 3:30pm. Extremely heavy rain in a very short period .74" of rain fell in 15 minutes 3:10-3:25pm. Wind gusts at this staion to 46 mph. Very intense frequent lightning. Pea sized hail. A lot of wind damage reports especially north of this station. Also funnel clouds were reported but not confirmed. More showers and thunderstorms continued through the evening untill 9pm 1.21" of rain total. 16th: Light showers 2-2:30am .05" Fog overnight. Oppressively humid day with dew points in the mid 70's and a heat index topping out at 103 and the temps were not even in the 90's high of 89 F. Very slow moving thunderstorms trying to move in from the west all evening. Rain began by 9pm-midnight but storms began to weaken but still a lot of lightning and thunder. Areas to the west were getting hit extremely hard. Total rain .39" today. 17th: Another hazy very humid day with dew points in the low to mid 70's. Shower 5-6pm .03" Thunderstorm 9pm -9:30pm with a pretty good downpour .43" in 20 minutes. .46" total today. 18th: Light showers just after midnight - 2:30am .03". Mostly cloudy warm and humid again today. A few more light showers late this afternoon and this evening .04"total today. 19th: Few showers early this morning 3:30am-4:30am .03". 20th: Dense fog overnight. Became sunny and warmer high 84 F. 21st: Hazy very warm and very humid today with dew points in the mid 70's this afternoon. Intense thunderstorms between 7:30pm -9pm Ominous black skies, wind gusts to 34 mph, very intense frequent lightning and heavy downpours .91" fell. Vivid lightning display to east for several hours this evening 22nd: A few showers overnight .03". MORE HEAT HUMIDITY & THUNDERSTORMS 25th: Hazy hot and humid high of 93 F. Thunderstorm just to the north 5:30-6pm. More thunderstorm 7:30pm- 8:30pm with some rather intense lighning, some wind gusting to 28 mph .55" of rain most of that fell in about 20 minutes. More vivid lightning displays to east again for several hours this evening. 26th: Hazy hot and humid high 92 F. Thunderstorms passed to south between 6:30-7:30pm no rain here just thunder. 27th: Warm and humid today. Showers throughout the afternoon .28". 28th: A light shower overnight and some rather dense fog formed by dawn. Showers late morning through the afternoon .41" fell. 29th: Some drizzle and fog overnight .01" of rain. A brief thunderstorm this afternoon at 1pm produced a quick .31" of rain in 15 minutes. Another intense thunderstorm just skimmed by to north 8:30pm-9:15pm with very ominous skies and mamma clouds but only a trace of rain fell here at this station, wind gusts to 28 mph.
