Cloudy with some drizzle and fog all day. Breezy and warmer this evening as temp shot up to 38 F and NW winds gusting briefly to 27 mph. 3rd: Cloudy and mild today a few sprinkleslate this evening. RAIN / WINDY / COLDER 4th: Rain showers between 4am and 9am .33" fell. Became very windy this afternoon with strong West winds gusting to 47 mph. 5th: Sunny windy and cold today high 32 F. SNOW 6th: Mostly cloudy today. Light snow began this evening around 8:30pm and continued about 1.0" by midnight. 7th: Snow all night light to moderate with another 3.0" since midnight by 7am and a total of 4.0" some more light snow fell during the morning with another 0.2" bringing the grand total to 4.2" from the event. Sunny with a high of 37 F. this afternoon. Windy this evening with NW winds gusting to 28 mph. A few evening flurries. 8th: Mostly sunny windy and cold today high of 29 F. WNW winds gusting to 28 mph. 9th: Cold overnight low of 12 F. but a good recovery to a high of 39 this afternoon. 10th: Periods of light snow throughtout the morning and early afternoon but no measurable accumulation. Windy this evening with W winds gusting to 34 mph. Snow squall this evening 10:30pm - 11pm coated the ground with 0.1" of snow. 11th: Gusty W winds overnight to 37 mph. Period of snow this afternoon between 2:45pm - 5pm produced 0.6" on the ground. 12th: Temperature rose overnight to 36 F. ahead of strong cold front. Then stong WNW winds blew in around 5am with gusts to 48 mph and some snow showers. Colder and windy all day. 13th: Cold and windy all night with NW winds gusting to 37 mph. Wind chills well below zero. Strong & steady WNW winds all day gusting many times past 30 mph. Peaked at 37 mph. MAJOR SNOWSTORM !! 15th: Snow overnight 1:30am - 7am with 2.1" A few periods of light snow and flurries throughout the morning but no additional accumulation. Cloudy the rest of day. 16th: Snow began again overnight around 2am with 4 new inches by 8am. Snow all day with very cold temperatures in the mid teens. Snow was steady and moderate all day heavy at times. by midnight 16.0" new inches had fallen. 18.1" since yesterday. 17th: Snow overnight with sleet mixed in. Sleet was heavy at times and compacted the snow amounts. 5.2" of new snow and sleet fell since midnight and by 9am bringing the storm total to 23.3" inches. If the sleet would have not fallen the amount would be closer to 30" Water content from storm 2.70". Some very light snow and flurries today. Some freezing drizzle this evening and more light snow late this evening with another 0.3". 18th: More periods of light snow overnight with another 1.0" since midnight. Some flurries throughout the morning. The 4 day storm event total is 24.6" inches. 19th: Warmer today high of 40 F. A good bit of snow melt today. Some light wet snow late this afternoon and early evening with large flakes but no accumulation. 20th: Sunny and warmer with more snow melt high of 46 F. 21st: Cold morning low of 18 F. Light rain today from 3pm - 8pm .18" fell also with dense evening fog. 22nd: Fog overnight. Rain began again just after 5am and continued through 2pm was moderate to heavy at times 1.02" fell. Drizzle the rest of the day. Fog this evening. 23rd: A few showers overnight and this morning. Strong NW winds developed this morning and continued throughtout the day gusting up to 45 mph along with colder temperatures. 24th: Mostly cloudy today with a few periods of light snow and sleet this morning but no accumulation. Windy this evening with W winds gusting to 30 mph. MORE SNOW !! 26th: Snow today began 6am. Periods of light snow all day with most of the accumulation occuring during the morning. 2.0" of new snow fell today. Some very light snow this evening. 27th: A few flurries overnight. Light snow this morning 6:30 am - 11am dropped 0.4". Periods of very light fine snow today. Steady snow began again by 5pm and continued throughout the evening with 2.6" total for the day by midnight. 28th: Some more light snow overnight with .05" since midnight some light snow during the rest of the morning but no additional accumulation. 5.1" inches for 3 day event. THIS WAS THE SNOWIEST FEBRUARY ON RECORD WITH A TOTAL OF 34.8" INCHES BREAKING THE OLD RECORD OF 31.0" IN 1899. THIS IS THE 2ND WETTEST FEBRUARY ON RECORD WITH 5.15" OF PRECIPITAION. THE WETTEST WAS 5.20" IN 1984. QUITE A CONTRAST FROM LAST FEBRUARY WHEN IT WAS THE DRIEST ON RECORD WITH ONLY .20" OF PRECIPITATION AND ZERO SNOWFALL.
