SHOWERS 6th: Cloudy and mild with a few light showers today .07". 7th: Showers overnight with one pretty good downpour around 2:30am. A few more showers during the morning .28" fell today. Cloudy foggy and hazy all day. 8th: A few sprinkles overnight, trace. A chilly dreary start but became sunny and much warmer as a warm front moved through today with a high of 70 F. THUNDERSTORMS / INSTANT SUMMER / RECORD HEAT 9th: Series of thunderstorms moved through the area early this morning begining at 3am. Some storms were very intense with frequent lightning, gusty winds and brief heavy rains. The worst of the some storms were just north of this station only by 0.5 mile. Rainfall here was .45" 3-7am and winds gusted to 25 mph. A good bit of close and explosive lightning. Became Sunny and Hot today with a RECORD HIGH of 87 F beating the old record for this date of 85 in 1922. Gusty SW winds this afternoon to 33 mph. Another intense line of storms this evening 7:30pm -9:00pm with strong winds of 47 mph, near 60 reported in the north end of town. Frequent lightning and brief heavy rains .34" fell this evening making .81" total today. 10th: Cloudy and cooler today with a few evening sprinkles. RAIN 11th: Cloudy with rain today from 7am - 6pm .67" fell was moderate at times. 12th: Mostly cloudy hazy became warmer late this afternoon with a high of 72. 13th: Warm overnight in the 60's. Some snow showers late this afternoon while temps were in the mid 40's very rare to see snow at those temperatures. 18th: Partly cloudy windy and cold today NW winds gusting to 33 mph. A few rain and snow showers late this afternoon with a heavier snow squall early this evening, no accum. FREEZE 19th: Killing Frost and Freeze this morning with a low of 26 F.
